Sexual Counseling
& Sexual Therapy

for individuals and couples in Zurich

Sexuality is rarely as simple as we would like it to be. It can be pleasurable, complicated, exciting, confusing or, sometimes, simply difficult. It changes. With us, with our bodies, with our relationships and with life.

When something no longer feels right, questions arise, or curiosity simply grows, it can be worth taking a closer look.

I support individuals and couples with questions around sexuality, intimacy and relationships.

Common Concerns

Sexuality shows up in many ways — as a question, a feeling, or something that has shifted. Here are some of the topics people bring to our sessions.

Desire & Arousal
Low libido or absent sexual desire
Mismatched desires within a relationship
Little or no sex in the relationship
Rediscovering sexuality after a long break
Life Transitions
Sexuality after illness, surgery, or trauma
Sexuality during pregnancy or parenthood
Sexuality and bodily changes across life
Curiosity & Sexual Growth

Our sexual landscape is often larger than we realize. Some paths are familiar; others we may never have explored — simply because we never knew they were there. Sexual therapy is an invitation to discover this landscape, to find new paths, and to meet your own desires with openness and curiosity. Giving yourself this space is an act of self-care. Perhaps now is the right time?

Body & Pain
Pain during sex
Difficulties with orgasm
Erectile difficulties or ejaculatory concerns
Body image, self-perception, and sexuality
Identity & Orientation
Questions about sexual identity or orientation
Uncertainty about personal desires and boundaries
Exploring and communicating sexual preferences
Relationships & Communication
Different ideas of closeness and intimacy
Difficulty talking about sexuality
Trust and wounds within a relationship
Other Topics
Pornography use that feels problematic
Sexuality after experiences of violence
General questions about sexual well-being
Velo Illustration
"Sex is like riding a bike — every ride holds the potential to carry us through new landscapes and to places we've never been."

My name is Anna Graf. I was born in Zurich in 1987 and raised here. Before turning to sex therapy, I spent many years working in design. Working with people, my interest in processes of development and change, and the question of how change can happen have always been part of my professional journey. I studied in Ireland for a year and lived and worked in Geneva for several years before returning to Zurich.

Today, I work with individuals and couples around sexuality, intimacy and relationships. I work with the Sexocorporel approach and meet each person with openness, curiosity and respect for their individual story and sexuality.

I completed the two-year foundation programme at the Zurich Institute for Clinical Sexology and Sex Therapy (ZISS). At the end of this year, I will begin the advanced programme and continue my training to become a sex therapist. Alongside my training, I regularly take part in supervision and continue to develop my knowledge of current topics relating to sexuality and society.

I believe that sexuality can be an important part of our wellbeing and quality of life. I also believe that there is no single way sexuality should be. It is about finding your own way into your sexuality, discovering what feels right for you, and recognising that we can influence and change our sexuality throughout our lives.

Sexual Therapy & Counseling

It starts with what's on your mind.

Perhaps you know quite clearly what you would like to change. Perhaps there is simply a feeling that something isn't quite right. Or a question you've been carrying with you for some time.

It isn't always immediately clear what it's really about. That's why we take a careful look together: What are you experiencing? What would you like? And what else might be playing a role?

Sexuality can be light. But it can also be accompanied by shame, uncertainty, expectations, or the feeling that somehow you're not functioning as you should. Talking about it can already make a difference. Because no one should have to navigate this alone.

You don't need to know anything, achieve anything, or prove anything to me.

Sessions take place fully clothed, and there is no physical contact. Alongside conversation, information about sexuality, exercises in awareness, or small experiments to try in everyday life may become part of our work. We decide together what feels useful. Everything discussed in our sessions is treated with complete confidentiality.

I work with the Sexocorporel approach. It understands sexuality as something that can develop and change throughout our lives — and something we can influence when we understand how it works. Body, perception, movement, thoughts, and feelings all play a role.

When we understand better how we function and why, new possibilities for our sexuality can emerge.

Change often begins in an entirely unspectacular way: with a moment when something is suddenly perceived differently. And from there, a new path becomes possible.
